01Agreement

These terms cover Vix AI's website, web application, desktop application, and iOS application. Vix is operated by Aevix Technologies, Inc., based in North Carolina, United States. In these terms, we, us, and Vix refer to that company.

By accepting these terms, you agree to be bound by them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. These terms cover personal accounts. Organization and Agency accounts are planned for a later release under separate terms.

02Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into this agreement, and located in the United States to use Vix. Provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share an individual account or use another person's account without authorization.

03Using Vix

Vix helps you ask questions, develop ideas, draft material, and create work using artificial intelligence. Features and usage allowances depend on your plan and platform. Features labeled as previews may be incomplete or disconnected from the services they illustrate.

AI can produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or fabricated information, including citations. Review output before using, sharing, or acting on it. Output may resemble material generated for others and may not qualify for copyright protection.

Vix is not an emergency response service or a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other qualified advice. Do not use it as the sole basis for decisions affecting health, safety, legal rights, employment, or access to essential services. Follow professional standards and your organization's approved procedures.

04Content and Ownership

You keep your rights in material you submit. You are responsible for having permission to submit it and for your use of generated output. To the extent permitted by law, we assign to you any rights we hold in output generated for you. This does not transfer rights in our software, branding, third-party material, or another person's content, or guarantee that output is unique or free of third-party rights.

You give us permission to process, copy, transmit, and store your content as needed to provide the features you use, maintain security, and comply with law, as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes processing by service providers that help deliver Vix.

Optional product improvement and model training are separate uses of your content. Training models for Vix requires your separate explicit consent. That permission does not authorize training for unrelated Aevix products or another company's independent purposes.

05Acceptable Use

Do not use Vix to violate law, infringe another person's rights, disclose information without authority, exploit children, facilitate fraud or violence, distribute malicious software, or access systems without authorization. Do not bypass access controls, safety restrictions, or usage limits, interfere with the service, or misrepresent AI output as an authentic record or statement by another person.

Do not submit identifiable patient information, protected health information, identifiable student records, confidential incident records, or other information requiring a specialized compliance agreement. Use fictional examples or material from which identifying and confidential details have been removed.

A future Agency offering may support specifically approved uses under a separate written agreement and verified safeguards. Purchasing a plan alone does not authorize those uses. Agency accounts are not part of the initial launch.

06Billing and Cancellation

Vix offers free access and paid monthly subscriptions. There is no free trial. The purchase screen states the price, included usage, applicable taxes, and billing date. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You authorize the payment provider to collect the disclosed charges.

For website purchases, use Manage billing in your plan panel to open the billing portal and cancel. For purchases through the App Store, use your Apple subscription settings. Cancellation stops renewal; you keep paid access through the period already paid for, then return to the free plan. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel a website plan before deleting your account; Settings asks you to. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel it in your Apple subscription settings.

Credits measure usage and have no fixed cash value. Free monthly credits do not roll over. Paid credits roll over and expire 12 months after each grant is issued; earliest-expiring credits are used first. Remaining paid credits freeze when paid access ends. Resubscribing restores unexpired frozen credits with their original expiration dates. The initial billing release has no automatic overage charges or separately purchased top-up credits.

Upgrades take effect immediately with the payment provider's applicable prorated adjustment. Downgrades take effect at renewal. Failed renewal may enter a provider-specific grace period before paid access stops. A failed payment does not itself delete your account or saved content.

07Refunds

Cancellation does not automatically produce a refund. For website purchases, contact hello@aevixtech.com within 14 days of a charge to request a discretionary refund. We consider usage during the paid period: largely unused allowances favor a refund; substantial use may result in a partial refund or denial. A refund may remove remaining credits associated with that charge.

Apple handles App Store refund requests through its own process. These rules do not limit refunds or other remedies required by law.

08Third-Party Services

Vix uses third-party services to host data, process AI requests, and provide enabled features. External websites, payment services, and destinations you choose may have their own terms. Check the source and reliability of external content.

09Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend access for serious or repeated violations, nonpayment, security threats, or legal requirements. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Contact hello@aevixtech.com to contest an account action.

You may stop using Vix at any time. Delete your account in the app (Settings > Data & privacy on the web, Profile > Account on iPhone), or email privacy@aevixtech.com. Subscription cancellation and deletion are separate processes. Our Privacy Policy explains storage and deletion limitations.

10Rights and Disclaimers

We and our licensors retain rights in Vix's software, interfaces, and branding. You receive permission to use the service in accordance with these terms. Open-source components remain governed by their applicable licenses.

To the extent permitted by law, Vix is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of generated content. These terms do not exclude consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11Changes and Contact

We will publish the effective date when these terms take effect. Material changes will be accompanied by notice, and we will obtain acceptance where required by law. Changes do not limit rights that applicable law gives you.
